Send us your marker list
Tell us the markers that matter, your matrix and your cohort size. We will tell you which platform covers each one, which already exist in validated panels, and which need custom development. That reply comes within one working day.
THE MEASUREMENT CHALLENGE
One disease area. Three very different sensitivity regimes.
Cardiometabolic biomarker research does not operate at one analytical scale.
Some programmes depend on ultra-sensitive single-analyte detection: high-sensitivity troponin, BNP and NT-proBNP, or ultra-low CRP.
Others need multiplex inflammatory profiling to resolve atherosclerosis and metabolic inflammation.
Emerging therapeutic programmes increasingly require measurement of metabolic regulators such as FGF21, GDF15 and adiponectin.
Cardiac, inflammatory and metabolic – one laboratory
WHERE IT’S USED
Typical applications
Heart failure biomarker work · BNP, NT-proBNP and troponin kinetics
Cardiovascular safety biomarker work in non-cardiac drug development
SAMPLE COLLECTION
Decentralised and low-volume sampling
Cardiometabolic trials increasingly collect outside the clinic. Longitudinal metabolic and inflammatory monitoring benefits from frequent sampling, and frequent sampling is easier when it does not require a phlebotomist.
Dried blood and plasma spots
NULISA detects 80–95% of targets from dried blood and plasma spots. That makes remote and self-collected sampling viable for high-plex inflammatory profiling.
Microsampling and low-volume collection
Ultra-sensitive platforms mean a small sample is not a small dataset.
Relevant to decentralised trials, longitudinal cohorts, paediatric metabolic studies, and any programme where sampling frequency matters more than sampling volume.
Talk to us about a decentralised design
One biomarker programme. The platform breadth to match it.
Cardiometabolic work increasingly needs more than one platform: ultra-sensitive single-analyte measurement for the cardiac side, multiplex breadth for the inflammatory side, and custom development for novel metabolic regulators.
We run all of it in-house, in a single laboratory.
Quality framework
HTA licence 12818, the UK framework governing the storage and use of human tissue
GCP-compliant workflows
Aligned to ISO 15189, the international standard for medical laboratories
Documented SOPs and full sample chain of custody
For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
