Start with your project
Tell us what you are sequencing, what library types you have or need, the depth you are aiming for, and what the data has to support. We will define the right configuration and give you a written quote within one working day.
What we sequence
Whole genome sequencing
Human and non-human genomes, deep or low-pass. The depth we sequence to is set by what you need to detect and how confidently, and it is agreed with you at scoping rather than inherited from a tier.
Whole exome and targeted panels
Exome capture and targeted panels. The capture chemistry and the coverage we sequence to are chosen against your target region and the variant class you need to detect, and confirmed before the run.
RNA sequencing
Total RNA, mRNA and small RNA, including degraded and low-input material. Reads per sample are set against the transcripts you need to quantify rather than a published figure.
Methylation profiling
Genome-wide and targeted methylation profiling, with the method and scope selected with you at scoping. See Library Preparation and Sequencing for which methylation workflows are routine here and which are established for a confirmed project.
Metagenomics and shotgun sequencing
Shotgun metagenomic sequencing, with taxonomic and functional profiling available as analysis. See the Metagenomics page for sample types and analysis output.
NULISAseq readout
The sequencing readout for high-plex NULISA panels, run in our own laboratory.
Library preparation
We prepare libraries in-house for whole genome, whole exome and RNA sequencing, and we sequence libraries you have prepared yourself. See Library Preparation and Sequencing, and Premade Library Sequencing.

Analysis and data delivery
SAMPLE SUBMISSION
Check your sample or library requirements
We do not gate this page with a threshold table, because a threshold printed on a page cannot see your sample. Requirements are assessed on the material you actually have.
Sample types accepted:
DNA and RNA across the usual sample types, including FFPE and low-input material. Send us the type and how it was preserved.
Input quantity:
assessed by library type and sample condition, and confirmed with you before anything is consumed.
Quality thresholds:
RIN, DIN, concentration and purity are read against what your application actually needs, not against a single published cut-off.
Premade libraries:
tell us how the library was prepared and quantified, and send the adapter and index information. What is workable is assessed on the library rather than set by a published minimum. See Premade Library Sequencing.
Shipping:
confirmed at scoping alongside the sample type, so material arrives in the condition the workflow needs.
Manifest:
sample ID, type, concentration, volume, library type and index information where applicable.
Tell us what you have and we will tell you plainly whether it is workable, and what it will take, before you commit it. We QC on receipt and confirm condition within two working days, before anything is consumed. Where a sample or library fails incoming QC, you hear about it before we proceed.
Shipping samples internationally
We can arrange collection and shipping, or work with your preferred courier. Either way we confirm the logistics, temperature control and documentation at scoping, before any samples move.
Why Element AVITI
AVITI is built around a different chemistry to the dominant sequencing platforms, and the differences show up in the data.
Rolling circle amplification
Reduced index hopping
Q30+ base quality
Low duplication rates
Fewer duplicate sequences means more usable reads from each run.
Individually addressable lanes
Projects can be physically separated on the same run, so a small study does not have to wait for a full flow cell.
Flexible throughput
Low, medium and high-output kit options, plus Freestyle kits for diverse input materials and on-instrument library conversion where it suits the workflow. We match capacity to the project.
